About us
Our story.... and how we started our glamping business in the heart of the llandeilo countryside...
Our family(Keith,Emma and Jenny) packed up their lives in Sussex with a dream of living a simpler life where we could be more sustainable, grow our own food and run a glamping business which could enable a better work life balance for all of us and share this wonderful place we have found with our customers.
We found the perfect place, panoramic views of the brecon beacons national park and 27 acres to explore which was a 5 minute drive to Llandeilo.The vision for Welsh hilltop escape is to provide the option of seasonal "veg" boxes for our customers, fresh eggs and other produce to make the glamping experience a memorable one.
Llandeilo is a quirky town which has striking colourful houses and boutiques independent shops and cafés and was voted best place to live in wales.

Our mission is to blend luxury and comfort with environmental responsibility, offering guests an opportunity to reconnect with the natural world while minimizing our ecological footprint.
Through the use of eco-friendly materials, renewable energy sources, and responsible land stewardship practices, we strive to create a harmonious sanctuary where guests can unwind, explore, and leave with a renewed appreciation for the beauty and fragility of our planet.
With a dedication to sustainability at our core, we aspire to inspire and educate others on the importance of preserving our natural resources for generations to come.
Vision
The vision for Welsh Hilltop Escape encompasses a commitment to not only offering guests a tranquil retreat in the heart of nature but also to provide an enriching and sustainable culinary experience. As part of this vision, we aim to introduce seasonal "veg" boxes, brimming with locally sourced, organic vegetables harvested from our poly tunnel.

In addition to the "veg" boxes, we aspire to enhance the glamping experience by offering fresh eggs from our own ethically raised chickens.

Founded in 2023 by a group of experienced campsite owners and conservation enthusiasts, the Wild Trails Camping Club aims to establish a network of premium, eco-friendly campsites throughout Wales, Scotland, and England.
